Online Presence is Critical

According to REALTOR.org, 92% percent of homebuyers use the Internet as part of their home search. 

In May 2018 REALTOR.org released statistic on where home buyers found the home they purchased: 

    • Internet: 50%
    • Real estate agent: 28%
    • Yard sign/open house sign: 7%
    • Friend, relative or neighbor: 7%
    • Home builder or their agent: 5%
    • Directly from sellers/Knew the sellers: 2%
    • Print newspaper advertisement: 1%
Your presence online is important. You want your home to be represented well in pictures. Buyers will choose to tour your property on pictures alone. You want your images to be bright and inviting. 
 
Buyers now a days are doing their research. They are filtering through many sites to check location, prices, school districts, square footage, etc. Once they have decided on an area, they will make a decision to tour a property based on pictures of these properties.
 
Professional photography is critical. A good photographers will focus on the homes best assets. He/she will pick the right angles, best lighting and provide high-quality photos. 
 
We are allowed to upload up to 50 pictures on our MLS. Why not use them! Start with your homes best feature and take it from there.
 
You want to capture the buyer from the very beginning. How many times have you opened pictures and were turned off by the first imagine? Do you continue scrolling through the pictures? Probably not.
